Directions: At night, apply 1-2 pumps to clean, dry face. Follow with your favorite moisturizer—we suggest Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer. If you’re new to retinol, phase this serum into your routine slowly. Limit initial use to 1-2 times a week and gradually increase frequency of use to every other day as tolerated.

Vitamin A is not naturally produced by the body-you can see and feel its benefits through topical application! Retinol, a form of vitamin A, supports skin’s natural renewal process by exfoliating the skin to reveal fresher, healthier-looking skin underneath, helping to improve the look and appearance of skin overtime.

When should I start using retinol?
There is never a wrong time for an adult to start using retinol! Retinol can be used for early onset aging signs or can be used to target existing signs of age such as fine lines and wrinkles, texture, and dark spots.
How often should you apply your retinol?
At night, apply 1-2 pumps to clean, dry face. Follow with moisturizer. If you’re new to retinol, phase this serum into your routine slowly. Limit initial use to 1-2 times a week and gradually increase frequency of use to every other day as tolerated.
How long does it take skin to adjust to retinol?
The adjustment phase (aka purging period) can take anywhere from 2-5 weeks as your skin gets acclimated to using retinol. The acclimation period can consist of red, flaky, irritated skin. During this time do not amp up retinol usage and make sure to strengthen your skin with moisturizers like Strength Peptide Boost Moisturizer. This is a normal part of the process and retinol journey-stick with it to see results!
Will my skin see harsh side effects with Double Rewind?
With retinol, skin often goes through an adjustment or “purging period”. Double Rewind is formulated to renew and replenish: this effective serum is balanced with soothing ingredients to help combat the harshness usually associated with retinol. Depending on your skin type and experience with other retinol products, you may see a short purging period.
Can I use a vitamin C with my retinol?
No, you should not use vitamin C and vitamin A in the same application. We recommend using vitamin C in the morning to brighten and vitamin A at night to renew. Always follow with SPF during the day to maximize results and minimize sun sensitivity.
Can I use retinol with other exfoliants?
No, we do not recommend using exfoliants in the same application as retinol.
Can I use retinol during the day?
We recommend using retinol at night as it can make the skin more sensitive to the sun. When using retinol always make sure to add a sunscreen to your morning routine (like Banana Bright+ SPF) to protect skin from UVA & UVB rays, maximizing results and minimizing sun sensitivity.
